Food for Brax, Preschool Days and Cousins!

Our cute Brax is now onto food! (Well, the baby kind) and he LOVES it! He's tried carrots and apples so far and seriously chows down!!!
It's so funny to see him because he really wants to food but still pushes it out of his mouth sometimes.
He's such a good boy and sits in his Bumbo at the dinner table while the whole fam has dinner together.
He coulsn't be happier than when he's eating with the rest of us!
Carter had his first preschool presentation last week...and it was GREAT! Of course the kids didn't perform for the parents (who does right?) but it was still fun to watch.
Miss Hill is great with the kids and Carter LOVES being in the same class as his best friend!
The class had a craft project, sang songs, made a book and played games for us to see! It was so fun...We are so PROUD of our Carter!
Carter has seen A LOT of his cousins lately and it's been great watching them all play together! Carter and Hunter are hilarious!
This was their "hot tub."
What a couple of goofs!
The boys ate away the watermelon and left the rinds on their plates...of course Carter had to use his a phone...well cute Hunter wanted in on the action and the two of them had conversations on their watermelon phones!
Here's sweet Tanner! This little boy is so animated! LOVE HIM!
It's been busy, eventful and fun the past little while.....

It's Christmas Time!

So I've been dreading putting up our Christmas tree this year...frankly I've been dreading cluttering my house with all the Christmas stuff (I know, I know...get over it!)
Well, Carter has been asking about Santa lately, so I thought it was time to get in the Christmas mood...well to my surprise we had a GREAT time getting everything together.
Scott and I put the Christmas lights up outside (just on the trees this year) and Carter LOVES coming home and seeing the trees all colored up with lights!
Getting out the tree, decorations and other Christmas things really did get me excited for this season! It's Brax's first Christmas...and it's also our family's first Christmas as a fam of 4...
Here's our tree! I'm the "sentimental" ornament kind...we have ornaments from all over the world and each one has meaning behind it. It's fun to listen to Christmas "tunes" while remembering where each ornament came from.
I know it's a blurry pic, but Carter ADORES his own mini tree. I really want to keep him away from our tree so I gave him his own! The tree skirt even has cars on it....needless to say he's very excited!
It's going to be a great Christmas for the Morris Fam!

Rylee's Party!

Cousin Rylee turned three this month! Carter got invited to his first-ever "girl" party! (Though Craig and Janae were great to have "boy" things as well!)
I have to admit, a "fairy" party was exactly what Carter wanted to go to....
Here's cute Jaycee and Carter playing the game...
The kids all LOVED this game! They kept asking to do one more round...
Here's the cutest Birthday Girl EVER!
There were so many things for the kids to do...Carter's favorite was making his very own fairy wand...of course he chose red. (okay so it turned out a little more pink than red, but I think he liked it better that way)
When you first walked into the party they had a "transformation station" where the boys and girls transformed into pirates and fairies! I LOVE going to parties where they get into it. The celebration was great!
I can't wait to see what they have in store for Jaycee...

Aunt Marian....

My mom's ONLY sister came to visit from Arizona last week...and all I can say is...we MISS being around our extended family.
This was her first time meeting Braxton and it's been over a year since she's seen Carter...so we had a blast!
Cute Carter put out chairs and made a "school" and he wanted Brax to join him....
They look so cute! (and yes those are goggles he's wearing...and yes that's Ellie joining them in class as well!)
Here's my cute Aunt Marian and sweet Brax....
So Carter seriously stinks at pictures lately...but the two boys LOVED being with my aunt (she even watched them one day while I went to the doctor's)
Here's the whole fam....
It was such a great time to see her and catch up on everything...it's times like those that I really do miss being in Utah without my family.

4 Months, Emma, Activities....

Our sweet little Braxton James is 4 months old today! I can't believe how fast he's growing...it seems like yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital. He is such a happy little baby boy, and really is so fun to have in our family.
WE LOVE YOU BRAX!
So don't pay attention to Carter's "grin" but really notice the snowman marshmallow in front of him. Ash and I got the kids together to experiment with a winter craft project.
Though they were a little harder than I thought, they still turned out great!
Here's the kids....minus Brax...making the snowmen...
On a random side note, I am in love with HUGGIES! I have always bought my boys thier diapers at Costco (and it's only like $4 more for Huggies than Kirkland) so we've always just bought Huggies. Well a while back I bought a case (over 200 diapers) and they were defective...so I wrote the Huggies company and complained. Just the other day I got a letter of apology from them with coupons for free diapers as well! Here's what I was able to score...
The Huggies didn't need to send me anything (I was still totally planning on buying them anyway) but the fact that they took the time to write me back and make sure I got free diapers in return, that makes me LOYAL to them all over again!

The weather has been hit and miss lately, but on one of the nice days we took the boys to Beus park to feed the ducks, walk around and play on the playground. Hunter and Carter are so cute together...
I said earlier that I am watching a little girl, well turns out she's the easiest baby around! She's about 11 weeks and absolutely adorable. Little Emma has been fun to have around lately, Carter plays with her and she grins at him...Brax just stares at her not really knowing what to expect. But she's such a good baby and really has been nice to be with.
Overall, it's been a fun week and really busy at the same time. I'll keep you posted on the newest from the Morris Bunch.

Precious Moments...

I absolutely LOVE having two brothers! I am so glad that Scott and I have both Carter and Braxton in our family. Having two boys is exactly what I wanted!
These sweet boys keep my busy, keep me up at night, but always keep me grateful that I'm their mom!

Halloween...a little late!

This year was a landmark Halloween for Carter...we went trick-or-treating for real! I have to say, I'm still a HUGE fan of the Trunk or treats, but it was worth going and having Carter experience real trick or treating.
My sister is always such a good sport with him...and he prefers her over his parents anyday...so they went from door to door while we watched...
Sweet Braxton just slept in the stroller...the hat makes me laugh..but he's so stinkin cute!
Here's the little guy all awake in his Halloween outfit. The best part is that the bib he's wearing used to be Carter's. Ahh the memories!
Here's Carter and Aunt Ju Ju going through a Haunted Mansion...this house was amazing, free and gave out FULL SIZE candy bars!
On Halloween the cousins got together to celebrate...and of course I introduced Hunter and Tanner to the scary body parts in the witch's brew! (It's a classic in our house...my mom always had this game growing up)
My mom and sister also came to the TreeHouse Museum with us that day. They had Halloween crafts, trick-or-treating and so many other festivities for the holiday.
Carter totally scored with the candy!
And what would Halloween be without a little pumpkin carving right? These pumpkins Carter got all by himself. One was from his preschool field trip, and the others were from his great grandparents! He had so much fun touching all the gooey mess!
It was such a fun Halloween!
