Christmas...the BEST Yet!

This Christmas was seriously the BEST Christmas we've had yet! It was so nice to have our little family's Christmas in the morning...just the 4 of us. It was so fun to watch Carter open his presents...he was "Santa's Little Helper" and passed out the presents to everyone.
He would give Brax his presents and say..."Here Braxton this one is for you..it's from Santa...would you like me to help you open it?" So Cute!

The funniest part was watching Carter unwrap the presents...he would neatly put each piece of paper in a nice neat pile and then continue to unwrap everything.
Brax's favorrite part was the wrapping paper... We then got ready and headed to the Morris house to see the family there. And I have to admit the CUTEST present ever was what the boys got from Steve and Annie.... The next stop was my mom's. Carter got some really cool things there too....This car is actually really fun to ride on...I steal it from Carter all the time at home!
He got a shopping cart...and look who he's pushing around in it....
One of my favorite presents was this...
Pretty sure Brax loves it too!
That weekend we also went to Aunt Tammy's for Family Bingo Night! All I can say is...I LOVE it! I always have such a great time and I'm so glad we went this year. They even had Santa come for all the little kids...

It was such a fun night!

Christmas Eve....

What can I say...Christmas is finally upon us! I have been SO excited about this Christmas...and now here we are....I can't wait until tomorrow morning!
This year is so much fun because Carter totally understands what Sants is all about...and it's also the first Christmas for us as a family of four...so....drum roll please....here is my FAVORITE Christmas outfit....

I love how happy my little man is in this pic...and the best part of this outfit is that Carter wore it two years ago as well....
But look how much he's grown since then...just look at the excitement in his eyes as we talk with Grandma "GiGi" about Santa....
We iced cookies just for Santa....And of course our "dairy-free" Santa ate up the cookies, drank the vanilla soymilk and left Carter his own Santa hat...
And of course the boys got their matching Christmas jammies...they are so stinkin cute! (Accept for the crazy look in Brax's eyes!)
Pretty much we are so excited for our Christmas to come this year!
On a side note, we've been cusy getting in some more Christmas activites before the season is over....
We have iced cookies with our cousins...We saw Santa one more time to tell him what we wanted...
We saw some fun Christmas lights (red of course) with Daddy....
And looked at some fun mini houses with mommy....
Pretty much we've done everything and now just are WAITING patiently for Christmas to finally arrive!

Happy Birthday Aunt Ju Ju!

My little sister's birthday is actually on Christmas Eve...so we ALWAYS celebrate it early in December so that she can have an entire day just for her Birthday (sharing with Christmas isn't that much fun)
Julia (aka Aunt Ju Ju) also is OBSESSED with Michigan! We honestly have no idea why...she just loves them. So my mom surprised her and got her tickets to see the Utes play the Wolverines last week. (pretty sure she couldn't have been more excited!)
Even though the Utes wasted Michigan...it was fun to go to the game and cheer them all on.
We celebrated her birthday two weeks ago and the cake was adorable!
Carter absolutely LOVED it!
It was a great party....great presents and one amazing CAKE!!! What's not to LOVE about birthdays!

Shoveling the Snow...with Help from Carter

Carter has been obsessed with "helping" shoveling the driveway with Scott.
So, when we saw a mini red snow shovel...it was a match made in heaven!
These pictures are a little blurry, but the sweet boy was so excited he would'nt stay still for the camera.

He was having so much fun...he "helped" Scott for about 45 minutes out in the cold...I kept trying to get him to come in and get warm...but he wouldn't have it!
It's so fun having a three year old! I love how imaginative he is and how much he enjoys the little things in life...like shoveling snow with his daddy.

Just "chillin"

I have to admit...having two brothers is the BEST! I love putting them in matching outfits, aren't they just adorable?
Our sweet little Braxton is such a joy to have in our family...we have loved watching him grow and change (it's amazing how fast it all goes by!)
This is the first Christmas season that I've had "off" since I was 16! I usually don't work on Christmas Day, but every other day in December! So this has been great to plan the parties, Christmas festivities and winter crafts!
For Scott's birthday I made all three boys matching blankets...here are the men in my life watching National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and snuggling to their blankets.
I am so glad that we have two boys....watching them interact, play together and grow up together has been an amazing experience!
It's also so crazy to me to see how different they really are!
Life is Sweet!

Family Christmas Spirit...

This year has been so much fun with all the Christmas festivities...mostly because Carter totally "gets" it this year. He understands who Santa is, loves candy canes, and is so excited for presents.
We have had so many birthdays and Christmas things planned for every weekend so far...and the end is not in sight!
On Sunday we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Morris' house to celebrate Kyle's birthday...
I'm not sure why but this is Carter's newest "pose" and of course I want to remember how crazy our three year old was!
We also made some really fun graham cracker "choo choo trains" and filled them with candies....(a much better idea than the gingerbread kits I have to admit)
Carter and cousin Hunter were decorating their trains while Brax and cousin Tanner played with the bouncer....(as you can see Brax really didn't want to share....PRECIOUS!)
Carter and Hunter were so good and really had such a great time together...
Here's all four boy cousins watching the movie Up together....
It was so much fun!

"Snow" Much Fun!

The Snow is HERE!
I know so many are so excited for the snow...and though it's fun in the beginning...I get really sick of it! But the first big snow was here last week and I really enjoyed playing with Carter for the first time this winter season...
We made snow angels...
And smade some really fun snowballs...of course we threw them at daddy....me and Aunt Ju Ju were "off limits" as far as Carter was concerned.
And yes....we HAD to see Santa. I'm not one to pressure my boys into taking amazing pictures (we all know it really doesn't work out to yell and get frustrated anyway) so this is the best we could get) It was really funny because Carter was carrying on a full conversation with Santa.
I do have to admit having Brax in our family has really changed things...for the better. I absolutely adore him and couldn't imagine things without him! He's so content (as long as food is in sight) and really is such a happy little five month old!
Scott, Julia and I took Carter to Michael's to do their December craft project....though the craft really was lame in my mind...Carter had a great time doing a project with Daddy and Aunt Ju Ju.
We have been so busy with the Christmas festivities, family birthdays and just having fun together...more post to come.

Scott Turns 26!

Monday was Scott's Birthday...he turned an entire 26 years old! (He's an old man!) On SUnday we had the grandparents, aunts and uncles over to celebrate.
Cute Tanner is getting so big and really enjoys sitting at the table like a big boy! So cute!!!
Pretty sure this was the cutest, and most creative gift Scott got! Steve and Annie put this together for him...it's ADORABLE!
My dad ended up with the boys at one point...
So I always leave the cake decorating up to my mom...well for Scott I tried to do one myself....pretty sure next time I'm leaving it to my mom...
It's supposed to be a ruler with tool shaped candles...I tried!
It was fun having everyone over, the cousins got to play and Carter got to hang out with all of his grandparents! Who wouldn't love that right?

Thanksgiving Weekend...

This Thanksgiving weekend was such a nice change in schedule for our family. Scott had Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday off! We took advantage of the time we had and took the boys to Fat Cats...
Carter loves playing the games, looking at everything, winning tickets and getting prizes! It's such a great place to have family time. Scott has a way with the games I have to admit, he ALWAYS wins lots of tickets for Carter.
Brax was so content looing at the lights, listening to the noises and eating some cheerios!
Carter's favorite thing there is the Merry Go Round! This kid can ride it all day long if we let him...
On Thanksgiving we all went over to Scott's Aunt Machel's house and had a feast! I must say...that family puts on a great spread. The boys LOVE the train set that Uncle Doug sets up every year.
It was a great time relaxing, eating, and spending time together!
